I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
